Project description

The objective of this project is to develop an ALDOT procedure to evaluate core strength results obtained under various conditions. The procedure will account for the most significant variables that may affect the core strength and for the number of core results obtained from the structure. Experimental work will be performed to evaluate the effect of concrete age on core strength & of core L/D ratio on concrete strength for strengths greater than 6,000 psi.
