Tom Maze seminars continue Friday

The Tom Maze Transportation Seminars will continue Friday with a presentation from Imad Al-Qadi, Bliss Professor of Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; Illinois Center for Transportation, Director; Advanced Transportation Research and Engineering Laboratory, Director; and Smart Transportation Infrastructure Initiative, Director.

Al-Qadi’s presentation is entitled “The Future of Pavement Engineering.” He will present from 11 a.m. to noon on Friday, April 26.

The event will be held at the Institute for Transportation (InTrans) in the Video Conference Room 4040.

Those unable to attend the meeting on-site can still listen in remotely by going to this link and signing in as a guest user.

The Tom Maze Transportation Seminar series is named for the founder of the Midwest Transportation Center (MTC) and has been held weekly during the spring semester since 2002. It features nationally and internationally recognized speakers discussing various aspects of transportation.
